Now for the really serious question: where do I stay?

If your long lost Aunt Agnes doesn't live a 3-mile bike ride away in Swampscott, you might consider staying in town.

The closest Bed and Breakfasts to Judith's house (the workshop site) are:

The place will sleep two singles very comfortably (in separate rooms) or three (one couple and one single). It has an equipped kitchenette, one full and one half-bath, and a little living room.

An old friend, who writes personal and family histories, runs it. Be sure to tell Francie that you are here for storytelling. It’s a great place, especially of you plan to stay on a few days.

Lots of AirB&Bs in town

This is right on my street and you can book it via Airb&B: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1993469

There are other lovely airb&bs in town, too.
